Question: I have a manual tranny i do not have 1st or second this just happened no warning sounds/signs.

I came off the ramp and I could no longer shift into 1st or 2nd, 3rd to 5 ok no problems. Have to start off in third !st gear second gear feels like 3rd. Any ideas? Shfiter rods?

Sounds like a shift cable may be binding. Could also be in the shift tower, but sounds more like a cable issue.
