Question: i have a question about my engine

i currently own a 2000 dodge grand caravan with a 3 litre V6 engine and overall it runs really well although this particular is known for using a lot of oil in a short time frame. ive tried a quart of lucas oil stabilizer and changing the PCV valve. any other suggestions as to what i can do to slow down the oil consumption?

Up to 1 quart of oil consumption per 1000 miles is normal.

How much oil is the engine consuming? Are you sure it's getting burnt and not just leaking out?

You can try using a thicker viscosity of oil and be sure to fix any leaks.
