Question: i have a stock 06 silverado 4wd. i would like to put 33in tires with 17in rims.

i have a stock 06 silverado 4wd. i would like to put 33in tires with 17in rims. if i lift the front 2in will the tires fit?

Maybe, it will probably rub at steering lock or under load/compression. Different brand/model tires run a little big or small, and wheels come in all kinds of offsets.

Going to a larger overall diameter wheel and tire has a lot of bad effects on the vehicle... Are you sure you want to do that?

The engine will struggle more with the extra weight and effectively longer gears. The brakes will have to work a lot harder too. Steering response and handling will suffer as well.
