I just converted my 1996 ee101 4efe corolla to all electrics from a 1993 5afe se-limited corolla, the plugs in the center console were different and the ecu plug on the interior loom.I have repinned the 16 pin ecu plug back in and the grey and black connector from the se-limited.The car is getting spark and fuel up to the rail, pump is engaging upon cranking and both open circuit relay and efi main relay are are closing. On my 4efe there was a small white plug coming in through the bulkhead with a black, purple and pink wire which i am not sure what it does. The black wire has vss 2f stamped on it.I have checked a friends pre-facelift 1993 4efe corolla and the loom is the exact same although it does not have this plug.I'm thinking maybe it is some kind of immobilisation system although my key does not seem to be chipped.Any help would be much appreciated.
