Question: I need help to figure my car problems better

I have a toyota camry 1988 and it was driving perfect the other day now its being real bouncy when i stop at a stop light, almost dies, and i have to almost floor it to even get it to get up and go. A friend of mine says it might be the transmission fluid

You may have a problem with the idle speed, or you may have a misfire, but it is hard to tell from your description. If you are having the problem while the car is not moving, then it is not likely that the transmission has anything to do with it. Having a reputable shop look at it is a good idea.
