Question: i need to know a part name

the mounting bracket on the lower side of my alternator is cracked in half causing the alternator to move and shred belts, i need to know what the part is called, its the bracket that holds the alternator to the engine.

You actually already got it. Just tell them you need the bracket for the alternator. There isn't a more specific name. You can probably get it from the dealer, or cheaply from a salvage yard.
