Question: If replacement engine fails after after 8 months while under warranty, what are reasonable charges?

Engine was replaced in April 2011 and lasted only until December 2011. That implies to me that engine was defective. What costs are reasonable or expected for replacing engine under warranty?

You'll need to look over the documents provided to you when the replacement engine was installed. Figure out your options from there.

Was the engine new or a junkyard motor? etc
