Question: Ignition Module

2003 Buick Lesabre with 72,000 Mi. Put me down in the road twice this year> Jan.cut off. $647.37.
Cut off again in Nov. $449.94. Why have I had this problem. 1st time fixed by Buick dealership
2nd time by local garage. There is something wrong somewhere..Give me an answer.

I'd have to see what exactly was done on both repairs. Was the crank position sensor replaced? It is the primary signal to the ignition module and if it is weak you can have symptoms (no start. stall) the act like a bad ignition module.
