Question: Ignition Switch on steering column

When I remove the key and re-insert it will not turn on. The key won't move and the steering wheel is not locked. I have a key in now that took me 15 minutes to insert. It stays there and I use a spare to open the door.
What is involved in fixing the switch?

The problem you are describing sounds like the Technical Service Bulletin #23-23-00. You can read it on the following link:

I recommend contacting a Plymouth dealer with the TSB # and finding out if the repair will be performed as a recall. If not, let your mechanic know there is a TSB regarding your problem, it will assist them with the troubleshooting and repair.
