Question: im being told i need a new Transmission

How true can this be with a 2008? It completely stopped the otehr day and before it did it drove as if it were to run out of gas any minute...

Unfortunately, transmissions can fail at any mileage, but for a high dollar repair like that, get a second opinion if you're not working with a shop you trust.
