Question: I'm getting a P0340 error code indicating the camshaft position sensor circuit is faulty
I've done all the continuity checks on the +5v, Gnd and signal voltage from the CMP sensor harness to the ECU connector. I also see a cycling from +5v to 0v when hand cranking the crankshaft. CKP sensor is also sending the +5v to 0v cycle to the ECU when hand cranking the crankshaft. Could this still be an intermittent CMP sensor??? Engine takes a long time cranking before it starts. I was able to clear the code the other day and the engine started right up, but it soon set the code again and now the code appears immediately upon starting. Thanks for your help.
