Question: I'm replacing the water pump. Do i have to remove the passenger side motor mount to get to it.

The engine is a 1.5L Tercel (DX) 2D. The water pump is underneath this bracket thats attached to the motor mount. Its on the passenger side of the engine. I can get to 3 of the screws but the last 2 are blocked by the bracket.

Yes you have to remove the braket. Some times you have to remove the timing belt.
