Question: in laymans terms what does iod wakeup output shortmean?

had car examined for purchase. Report stated iodwakeup output short and IOD WAKE SHORT. They scaned for dtc's and found several history codes 44 stsrts ago, corrected 22 starts ago..orc messafes not recieved
