Question: injectors are firing and the spark is there but the car wont start

we recently did an engine overhaul on our bmw 318i 2002 facelift model, there is spark from the plugs and the injectors are firing but the car wont start, it does attempt to for 10 seconds the it dies.

Sounds like the antitheft system is activated. try a different key to see if the one you are using has lost its programming.
