Question: Interior lights not working

I've had my car for almost 6 years and ever since I got it, it has not had any working interior lights of clock. Every time I start my car, the lock always resets to 1:00pm. Everything else electrical works in the car however. So my two dome lights don't work when entering the car or simply just trying to turn them on while driving. The lights in my trunk also don't work.

I had thought it was a fuse so I located those and replaced them with new ones. Once I did this all the lights worked and my clock worked so I know the bulbs aren't bad. Then, like maybe an hour later they just stopped working again.

Sounds like you have a short in the circuit. If you recheck the fuse, I suspect it is blown again. Some electrical diagnostics is needed to find out where the short is.

It goes without saying that these pieces wear out, but they do so slowly, meaning you may not notice they need attention until ...
