Question: Is it worth using my insurance to fix my side mirror?

Someone broke my passenger side mirror on my vw jetta se sedan. How much will it cost to fix without using insurance? I have to pay a $500 deductible with insurance.

Sometimes when break a mirror, the door frame gets bent in the process, so the door will need to be checked. If it's just the mirror, the labor usually is around 2 hours or less.

You'll really need to take it to a body shop for an accurate estimate...they should quote you a price for free. From there you can find out if it is cheaper to fix it with your insurance or not.
