Question: Is my oil pump shot?

While driving the highway, vehicle suddenly started slowing down then I got it into neutral then it stalled out.upon further investigation my oil was low and the light was on, so I added a litre of oil to bring it up to full.my vehicle will not start.my oil pressure before adding oil was at zero after adding oil it was slowly building pressure up to 3kg per cm squared.I' m wondering how to find out what my problem is.and how to get my pathfinder running again.

You should have a shop look at it. Sounds like the engine may have failed from lack of lubrication.
