Question: Is this a transmission issue?
I have an automatic 2006 Dodge Stratus. About a month ago my engine light came on and I noticed that the car was not shifting properly. I ran a diagnostic and it came back with an o2 sensor error code. A day later the engine light turned off and it was fine for a few days. Ever since then the engine light turns off and on and I occasionally have the same issue where the car will not shift into gear and it vibrates. All fluid levels are good and it's not leaking....I've googled the problem and get multiple answers...it could be the sensor, it may be the filter, I may need a new transmission, ect. I don't have alot of money and I'm fearful to take it to a shop because I've been duped before. :(
