Question: Light blinking...what could this mean??

I have a 2004 Oldsmobile Alero. There was a red light blinking and I noticed it to be my front airbag light. It only stayed on for about two seconds and then went off. About five minutes passed, the light flashed again and then my headlights flashed extremely bright. The light went off and my headlights dimmed back to normal. What could this mean??

Since it's the airbag light, have the codes for that system scanned. Most shops can do this for a diagnostic fee of around $80-$100. You can also look in your owner's manual for an interpretation of your dash warning lights, if you don't have your owner's manual, you can download one from the Oldsmobile website.
