Question: lights stay on in back seat

There is a light switch on the back of the front seat. how do I turn it off. Is it to the right or the left. The lights turn on when the door opens but are turning off when door is closed. it has drained the battery and now won't turn on unless door is open. The battery drained and I don't know which way the switch should go to make sure it is off.

Charge the battery and check. There is usually an OFF, DOOR, and ON position. The standard position, DOOR, is usually in the center.
