Question: Loss of power and engine stalls

My abs light came on, truck started to spit and sputter. Finally died as the the battery went dead. Radio shit off and gauges went all screwy. Got a jump start and it idles fine, put it in drive and same thing. I can hear my back brakes grinding? On the side of the road now..HELP!

You need a alternator. It not putting out any voltage. Charge the battery and replace the alternator.
