Question: Low pitched moan from engine during very slow speeds.

Further more has inconsistent engine temps. Never overheats, but will get a little warmer than normal then drop back down below normal. Never had a V8 before, do they just run at a higher temp then a V6?

Engines should run at temperatures set by the thermostat--the basics for all engines are the same. If it's not overheating, then it is likely fine, but you should have the cooling system inspected if you are concerned.
