Question: Lube shop said my fuel filter needs replacment.

I understand my fuel filter is part of the pumping unit inside the fuel tank. I have read it is a non servicable item is that true? If not when should it be done?

There is no need to replace the fuel filter. When the fuel pump goes out then you replace the filter with the pump.
