Question: Maintenance

I don't put a lot of miles on my car in 1 year. Do you follow getting the car serviced every year or just when the mileage calls for it? (For example, I have 13k miles now and am about to do the service, but the next one is at 26k and that will take me over 1.5 - 2 years to reach.)

You do the maintenance at the millage or time interval, which ever comes first. I would change the oil every year or 5k miles.

The factory 10k oil changes are a bad idea and lead to problems in the real world, especially on higher performance vehicles.
