Question: Maintenance Light

My maintenance light came on last week and I scheduled my appt for next friday. at first the light would just come on when i would start my car. now it stays on. is this something to worry about, or is it just an extra reminder?

If it is the light that tells you its time to change the oil, you should be fine until your appointment

You can always check your owner's manual if you don't know what a specific light means. It will list all dash telltales and their meanings for your vehicle..
