Question: Manual Transmission Fluid Change

I cannot find a period in the maintenance schedule for changing the manual transmission oil for my 6-speed 2007 330i. The dealer says it is a lifetime fluid. Is that true? It should never be changed?

The modern fluids are very good and can last a long time. Personally I'd probably replace it every 60-100k

BMW doesn't list a replacement interval for the MT fluid. They also don't define "lifetime" of the car...
