Question: Muffler Hanger Strap

One of the bolts on my muffler hanger strap fell off yesterday and now my muffler drags on the ground (aka, my car is undriveable). I am looking to buy a used or new strap, but only can find a Walker Muffler Strap which several reviews state does not work with the original muffler. Does someone manufacture heat-proof wire or something else that I could use to secure my muffler to my car without having to buy a new muffler or take my car to a mechanic? I can't find the particular bolt size for my car either :(

I'd recommend securing it with whatever you can manage (coat hanger, whatever) and taking it to a muffler shop for a proper repair.
