Question: Multiple repairs - questions

How do I know if I need the following done:
1) Replacement of Serpentine Belt?
2) Transmission Fluid service?
3) Power Steering service?
4) Air Filter Replacement?

When we got an oil change, the mechanic recommended these services and the total cost is approx $280. Thanks

Replace the belt if it has cracks or glazed material. Replace the air fllter when it is dirty. The other 2 have recommended service intervals. You can find out what those are by following the green 'service schedule' link on the left.
