Question: My 1994 explorer 4x4 is making a loud whinning noise when idol and when not pressing gas.

Getting loud noise when idol and not pressing on gas when car is moving. Sounds like a vacuum leak somewhere. Any ideas on what it could be?

To find a vaccum leak use carg cleaner. Spray little shots around the engine. If the idle changes spray it there again to pinpoint Then you replace that gasket.
