Question: My 1999 VW beetle keeps turning off

My 1999 VW beetle keeps turning off when I am going down the road. It wont turn on right away it takes 20 to 30 min then it comes on. It takes me driving for 20 min or so before it turns off. It is throwing grounding codes when we check. Could you help me please, and thank you for taking the time to read this email. the check engine light is on. Also when it turns off every thing is off but my radio is still playing, also my battery light flashes right before it goes off. The battery is bran new though.

Check the specific fault code and go from there. Maybe it's a bad engine speed sensor? Codes should tell. Maybe an issue with the connections to the battery or grounds etc.
