Question: My 2001 F-150 w/200,000 miles started making a very loud ticking which gets faster when i accelerate

I tried a fuel additive and an oil additive to no avail. Whats wrong? Is it time to bury her?

It might be a problem with a valve or lash adjuster, or something different entirely. Take it in for a diagnoses and estimate. It might be something cheap and simple.
