Question: my 2004 impala heater does not work

when i turn the heat on the temperature does not change it stays the outside temp was wondering what the problem was?

Sounds like the blend door is stuck.

It is located under the dash board and usually are difficult to get to. Yours is probably controlled by electronic actuator that is operated by the computer. The actuator is usually the part that fails. It's about a $50 part, but the labor can be fairly expensive depending on which one has failed and how much of the dash has to be disassembled to access it.
