Question: my 4wd donot work what is the reason

I changed the cv join axel when i put it back the 4wd dosen't work. Can you tell me what is the possible reason? How can I fixet my volvo is xc90 2005 2.9 liter turbo

Do you have a check engine light, or any other dash light on? If so, have it scanned for codes. Did the 4wd work before your replaced the cv joint?
