Question: My alarm key broke and can't start my truck

Alarm went offf for a few minutes, then turned off. My ignition key turns but won't start the truck. I tried unplugging the battery for 10 minutes and unplugging the alarm under the hood, nothing is working!! Help please!!

Try locking/unlocking the drivers door. This will sometimes disarm the alarm. If it's a factory alarm you may need to have it replaced, if you have an immobilizer key the key could be bad.

If it's an aftermarket unit you should probably just remove it. A good alarm/stereo shop can remove or disable the factory alarm as well.
