Question: My car got "egged" and wrecked portions of the clearcoat

Do I need to get a total re-application of the clearcoat or can it be just applied in the places where the egg dried overnight and damaged the clearcoat?

Sorry, we have no information on auto body repair. You'll have to take it to a body shop for an estimate...they should quote you a price for free.

I will say it is almost impossible to fix just parts of the clear coat. It probably will need a repaint unless it can be buffed out.
