Question: My car is overheating

My car is overheating.
I have replaced a bad radiator, thermosat, and hoses. the coolant levels are all where they are supposed to be. when i got the car my mom borrowed it and filled the radiator with cold coolant when it was overheating and i ran a block sealer through the engine just in case because after that the coolant was leaking but now it will get up to the red but when i stop and look under the hood the engine is just warm not overheated

If the guage is reading incorrectly, most likely the block seaeler you put in contaminated the coolant temp sensor. Replace the sensor and see if it improves. If it is overheating, then you probably till have an air pocket in the cooling system and it needs to be bled.
