Question: my car starts runs fine .. then volt meter will drop off car will stall ..i noticed my positive caba

car runs fine .. teh volt metter drops and stalls out . i noticed the positive termial was extremely hot ,.. could this be the stallin problem ?? started car today .. was ice cold ? what is happenin , any ideas ?

If the terminal is hot it's an indication of high resistance. Do you feel it anywhere else on the cable or battery? You can try cleaning the battery post and cable clamp, but I highly recommend getting the entire charging system tested. Many auto parts stores will do this for free, call around to find one with the right equipment.
