Question: my car starts sometimes and not.

I can go out and it will start right up other times I have to try it 10-12 times before it will start. I have never had to jump it evenutally it starts but like I said it might take 10-12 times. Is it the battery which I had checked. They said it was ok. I just don't know.

For all hard starting or engine performance issues, you should always start with the basics. Make sure the tune up items are done and check the charging and starting systems. The engine must have the basics done in order for it to be able to run correctly. Many things can cause this type of problem, and the simplest sometimes get overlooked.
