Question: My dealer said I need transmission service at 30k miles?

This seems way too soon and supposedly transmission fluid doesn't need to be changed until 100,000 miles. What do you think?

The fluids (including ATF) are due to be checked every 30k and adjusted or replaced as needed. If the fluid looks fine at 30k (which it probably does) there is no need to change.

I'd probably personally change it every 60-100k regardless of condition, maybe do the filter too.

I was thinking 60k too and no longer as we live in LA and drive in
A lot of stop and go traffic.
