Question: my drivers side window will go up but not down

i checked the switches and they are good i used a test light on the connection to the window motor and the light works when desired direction is pushed, but when plugged in to the motor only up wors.

Try applying power directly to the motor to see if it will go down. If it operates okay, you have a wiring problem or a bad switch.
