Question: my EPC light came one & so did the skidmark car? what does this mean?

I turned on my car this morning & the EPC light was on & so was the picture of the car with the skidsmarks. i got to work & turned off the car & then turned it off again & it didnt realltly come back on. What does this mean? Should i be concerned about this? I hope you can answer my question & help me out.

The EPC (Electronic Power Control) light will come on for issues with the drive-by-wire system and any faults with the throttle pedal, throttle body, traction control, cruise control,

Since your traction control light came on as well, I'd suspect an issue with that system. You need to have the codes pulled to see which system is having the issue.
