Question: My Key Fob won't start my Rover

I have a 2001 Range Rover 4.6HSE. Recently the key fob wouldn't work. I did change the battery. The only way I could get in was to use the key part of the fob. At first, that set off the alarm. After a while that stopped and I could get in only at the driver door. When I put the key in the ignition, there is a message that says "Engine Disabled". I cannot get the vehicle started!

You alarm is set. You need to disconnect the battery. Let it sit. Reconnect and see if it will start if it will not you need to get a new key fob to turn the alarm off.
