Question: my light on the drivers side makes a grinding noise when turned off?

when I turn on my fog lights my headlights pop up, and when I turn my lights off the drivers side light makes a winding, grinding sound. How can I fix this and what would I check?

The headlight motor is probably bad. The only way to fix it would be to replace it.
