Question: My new multi function switch won't turn off automatically

I just installed an aftermarket multifunction switch. Everything works fine and I thought I installed it correctly, but when I use my turn signal it won't click back to the off position when I complete my turn. Is this something I missed or is something wrong with the new switch? My car is the 05 Classic model and the turn signal and windshield wiper switches are all connected as one piece.

It is probably a defective switch, but without checking your work I can't say for sure. There isn't much to changing them, so I would lean toward a bad part.
