Question: my o/d light started blinking while driving

while driving in traffic my o/d light came on and started blinking (freeway morning traffic). I checked my button on arm & nothing happened. Checked to see if it was in 4wd. no. what now?

Sounds like a code is being set by the transmission control module. You need to have the codes pulled from the computer to see what is going on. I suspect it is not going into lock up or overdrive for some reason.
