Question: Need a timing belt change

I have 120k on my odyssey and need a timung belt change. The rate it says I should pay is 378$. The rate I have gotten from two shops is 800$ and 1k. How do I the the 378$. I am going by rates in my area. Thank you

The repair cost calculator may not be the most reliable tool. One reason for that is that it does not include associated costs, like parts or extra labor for additional repairs. Likely you are also getting a water pump and a new timing belt with that higher estimate. If you are getting different estimates from local shops and they are nowhere near the cost you expect, ask them to break it down for you and explain the cost for each step.
