Question: needing help with vibration

"my 1996 mustang gt vibrates pretty bad when im at a stop in drive or reverse but when in park theres no vibration i took it to firestone and the told me that my rear tranny seal is leaking and allowed tranny fluid to cover the transmission mount which caused it to go bad so i replaced those two and they were both torn up but after i got done and drove it the vibrating was still there but not as bad so now im confused as to what it can be now.

You have a engine missfire. I would make sure your plug wires and spark plugs are good.

I have delt with it having a misfire in the past but if it is miss fire it would be throwing a code and the check engine light would be flashing wouldn't it. Its not throwing that code

Not always. At idle the computer will let it misfire a lot. It could be something in the transmission causing the problem. If you have a tach. Make sure the rpm is 650 or highter. You could just have low idle. Which would mean you need a new idle air control motor.

That is for the canister. I would take car of that code. That could be your problem.
