Question: Nissan 300zx fuel problem
Hi. I've been diagnosing fuel problem with my 1986 nissan 300zx. After tearing the car apart I've figured out I am not getting ground at pin 20 on the ecm, which is causing the fuel pump to not engage, and hence the fuel pump not to run (it does run for initial prime).
If I bypass and connect ground directly to the pump the car runs fine...
ECM is showing code 44 (all good), so seems like might be bad ECM?
I'm tempted to install permanant ground at the pump but would rather fix properly.
Suggestion?
