Question: not sure my question was recorded so I enter again below:

Do I need to add water or check specific gravity on my battery? Current battery was put in 7/08.
How long does a battery normally last?

Thanks--Dan O.

A battery can last from 2-5 years. It depends on how you use it. If you use the radio a lot with the engine off that will take life off a battery. On checking specific gravity. Most new batterys are sealed so you can't do that. If you would like to get it tested go to Auto Zone or Pepboy. They test the batterys for free.
