Question: Oil Change and Maint Question

The manufacturer states that I should follow the oil change computer. Is this recommended or is there a specific amount of miles I should drive between oil changes? Also, the dealer is stating that they recommend a throttle body cleaning service at 30k miles.Charging $120. Is this is necessary or a dealer money making deal? Thanks!

Throttle body service is a good idea (will prevent some problems down the road), though you could save some $ by having it done at an independent shop.

Miles between oil changes is actually a debatable topic, but it mainly depends on the oil you're using. 5k is good for regular oil, but if you're using a synthetic oil, go with the manufacturer recommendation (should be on the bottle or the website).
